Ying Ying likes to read when she is doing her business on her potty or toilet trainer. The above photo was taken when she was in a cooperative toilet-going mood. The truth is she has been on a toilet strike for the past few weeks. She insists on peeing everywhere except in the toilet. Mention the word toilet, she would start her loud whines of resistance. Really dunno what to do... We are getting tired of cleaning up after her and I am seriously thinking of putting her back in nappies and diapers again. Why stress her when she is not ready? Think I read somewhere having a new sibling may bring about regressive development in toilet-training but I never thought it would happen to Ying Ying. Sigh! I am crossing my fingers and hoping she will be fully toilet-trained before her 3rd birthday this September.
