Goo.N (do?) :p

Mei Mei is exactly 5kg today at 6wks 2 days old! :)

After using up the complimentary pack of Pampers newborn diapers provided by the hospital, Mei Mei has been wearing Nepia NB diapers which are meant for up to 5kg. I started out with 2 packs and now I still have 1 pack left since we used cloth nappies most of the time (both day and night) except when we go on outings. Luckily, the NB size still fits her nicely. After that, it's time to switch to S size (4-8kg)!

I have been using made-in-Japan Nepia diapers for a long time now. I find them are more comfortable compared to other brands like Mama Poko and Drypers (terrible - so rough) and reasonably-priced too. They provide free delivery for a minimum order of 4 packs and you can redeem a $10 NTUC voucher once you have acummulated 10 stamps (1 pack = 1 stamp). Good deal eh? Sometimes you can get good deals at NTUC like around $26.95 (I think) for 2 packs which makes it even cheaper than if you get it directly from Nepia company which charges $15/pack. Unfortunately, NTUC doesn't stock up on sizes other than M/L open-type, L/XL pull-ups. So if you need NB or S sizes, you have gotta order from Nepia directly.

BUT recently I stumbled upon this website which specialised in selling diapers and they import made-in-Japan Goo.n (what a name) diapers from Japan. It is slightly more expensive than Nepia but their online reviews said Goo.n is better because the adhesive tape is more secure and doesn't smell or bunch up as badly as Nepia when soiled. Dunno true or not. Guess the only way for me to really find out is to place an order. haha! No harm checking out other brands. If Goo.n is no good, then I'll just switch back to Nepia! They are really efficient (like Nepia) - I ordered this morning and they just called to ask me if they can deliver later in the afternoon. Ok I know it is a trival purchase but I am so excited! heehee... :p
