It is a good habit to declutter our things every now and then. Ying Ying's wardrobe has been cluttering up and I am in the midst of putting away those clothes which she seldom wear or those which are getting to be a little too short or tight for her. In doing so, I am quite appalled to realise the excessive amount of clothings I have accumulated for her so far. Thanks to her mama who likes to dress her up, Ying Ying has more clothes than anyone else in the house! :p
Just the other day, I read that we only wear 20% of our clothes 80% of the time. I think this is quite true - although Ying Ying has so many clothes, she only wears a handful of them (mainly tees and shorts) on a regular basis. There just aren't many special occasions for her to put on the dressier ones. Some of which have only been worn once or twice.
Luckily, Mei Mei is a girl and so all these clothes will get to enjoy a second lease on life when she gets bigger. Otherwise, it would be quite wasted lah... Phew!
