Meimei has been practising on pulling herself up to stand and right now, she is able to stand without holding to anything for about 3-5 seconds. She is exactly 11mth today, by the way. Husband said he saw her 'walking' by pushing a chair today. What a way to mark her monthly birthday! I wonder if she would walk before her 1st birthday next month like her jiejie (who took her first independent step at 11.5mth to be exact).
That reminds me - we are still undecided whether to throw a birthday party for her or not. Think we are more inclined to keep it small this time round. I find it more meaningful to celebrate together with our immediate family members rather than having over all the friends and relatives whom we only meet once in a blue, blue moon.......
