We dropped by the Botanic Gardens last Tuesday after Ying Ying's Kindermusik makeup lesson at the nearby Tanglin Mall. Our main purpose was to feed the fish, tortoises and the two swans. I used to bring leftover frozen bread there but it is such a hassle to carry all the way there. Besides, I no longer have space in the freezer to freeze extra bread. Instead, I just bought a big cheap loaf of bread for feeding. Guess what, I think they like fresh bread better, from the way they lapped it all up! Could they really tell the difference or was it my imagination???
