Yesterday was the last day of the 2-wk holiday programme for Ying Ying. Phew!!! It was really tiring having to shuttle her to classes every single day and I am so glad it is finally over.
We had turned up late for classes on more than a few occasions but I had refused to call for a cab because I think it is just not worth to fork out $13-15 to be earlier by just 30mins or so (public transport only cost $2).
Anyway, Ying Ying seems to enjoy taking public transport. She was always excited when I told her we were going to catch the bus/train. I also get her to hold on to the EZ-link card and tap on the machine when going up and down the bus.
I am happy Ying Ying has been such a well-behaved girl on the daily 1-hr journey from Punggol to Orchard. Last time, she would get restless and fuss a lot if the journey gets too long. But now that she is older, she is more cooperative and composed. The best thing is she no longer demands to be nursed on the train - thank god!
