Ying Ying turns 27 mths today. :)
But yesterday she fell and got a deep cut on her lips. :(
It happened outside the lift lobby at the carpark of my in-law's place. Ying Ying was happily walking and holding on to a small rock (which she took it from Botanic Gdns and kept in the back pocket of her stroller about a mth ago). Then she tried to negotiate a big step outside the lift lobby but lost her balance and fell flat on her face. Because she had a rock in her hand, she couldn't block the impact of her fall with her hands. As a result, her lips hit the concrete floor and there was a big gash. I quickly picked her up and I was so horrified to see so much blood oozing out.
Needless to say, she cried for a long time. And for the entire day, she didn't take her lunch and dinner, only drank milk and juices. For a while, I was mad at husband for walking ahead of her instead of watching her from behind. To think that he always tells me to watch her carefully! But husband insisted it was the fault of the rock. -_-
Hope the cut will heal quickly and her appetite will return soon.
