Ball

We went out for dinner with my parents at Novena Square last weekend. On the way back to the carpark, we passed by a sports shop. I pointed out some balls on display to Ying Ying. She smiled and stared at them for a while then suddenly she caught sight of the word ball on one of the display boxes. She pointed at the word and read ball (a few times)! ^_^

Later, we noticed a couple of kiddy rides stationed near the lift lobby and she started pointing at them. She was so excited that she even attempted to climb up on one. Her doting papa slotted in a $1 coin for her even though she just sat on one recently. I didn't mind too 'cause this Paddington bear ride is one of the cuter ones around heehee (some are really ugly believe me). Well, before having a kid, I never thought much of kiddy rides. In fact, I felt they were plain boring (just noisy music and jolting of the machines what) and were a waste of parents' money (the rides always were always sooooo short - like 1min? 30s??). But now, I don't mind an occasional spending of that $1 to see the smile brightening up Ying Ying's face. Anything for my darling! ^_^
