I love chocolate chip cookies!

These pics were taken on Tuesday. Ying Ying had refused to take her usual oatmeal for breakfast. Rather than letting her go school on an empty stomach, I offered her chocolate chip cookies (chips ahoy) which she accepted happily. The following morning, she caught sight of the box of chip cookies again (chips' more this time) and insisted on having one. While eating, she said to me, "mmm...dee-li-cious!" and "hao-chi". :D

We usually store the cookies in a Lock&Lock airtight container. A couple of months back, she finally figured out how to open and close the container (previously she had some difficulties bcos she didn't apply enough strength). So nowadays, she would help herself to the goodies and sometimes behind our backs!

Actually, I don't really like the idea of her eating so many chocolate chip cookies cos they are very 'heaty' and too sweet for her. Would have baked my own not-so-sweet version if I ever have the time. Home-made stuff are the best!

Note: Ying Ying is reading a book entitled "If you take a mouse to school" by Laura Numeroff. It is a follow-up book based on "If you give a mouse a cookie". Both stories are very interesting. Think there was even a play based on the cookie story. Would definitely take her there if they ever stage another performance again.
