Xuan and Yue

We paid a visit to a good friend's house on the second day of the CNY since we were visiting relatives in the area where she stays. Her two little darlings, Xuan (27mths) and Yue (11mths) were so sweet. Just look at how chubby Yue is! Can you believe she is heavier than Ying Ying? The amusing thing is that Yue will usually wear the new clothes her mother buys before they become hand-me-downs to her older sister, instead of the other way round! The older gal, Xuan, was born prematurely at around 28-29 wks and her birth weight was merely 900+g but look how much she has grown! :D Height-wise and weight-wise, she is almost catching up on Ying Ying!

Ying Ying sat in their walker for quite a long time. It was probably quite a novelty to her as we never owned one. But looking at the way Yue sped around on the walker, I am glad we didn't (although my friend said it was quite safe). Read somewhere that research has shown that walkers are responsible for a number of accidents at home and doesn't really help babies to learn walking any faster. Walker aside, Ying Ying also enjoyed playing with their toy phone. She kept saying into the phone "hello!", "goodbye!" and "see you later!"
