Somehow I know we will be bombarded by this question during darling's birthday celebration next month.
Lately, I have been thinking of no.2. Firstly, a friend who gave birth 2mths later than me sms-ed me saying she is now 3mths pregnant. Then one of the bloggers whose blog I frequently visit also announced she is 11wks pregnant and her son just turned one a week ago.
Well, we are also planning to have no.2 but the timing is not right at the moment. Why?
You see, before I went on my 1-year no-pay childcare leave, my clerk told me that I will be not entitled to the 3 mths' maternity leave should I give birth during this time. In another words, I must first report for work before I deliver. Since my NPL ends on June 2007, I should aim to give birth during July-early Aug period. Any later will mean that my maternity leave will cut into the Nov-Dec sch hols! So if we count 36-40wks or 9-10mths backwards, I should start work and concieve in late Sep-early Oct! Heheh...
So if everything goes well according to plan, by the time no.2 comes along, darling will be almost two and ready for playgroup. Hopefully, she will be toilet-trained by then so we need not do double changing of nappies! Well, we are soooo practical, aren't we? :p

Heheh...that's provided if plan A succeeds! But sometimes life can be full of surprises... I am just keeping my fingers crossed lah! :)
