I turn 29 today! Happy birthday to me!! :)

I am just so happy that I have hubby and Ying Ying with me. Hubby felt guilty that he didn't get me anything. But I didn't really mind because I knew he was genuinely busy with work. He kept urging me to buy anything I wanted when we were out in the evening but I didn't because there was nothing I really need and I didn't want to splurge on unnecessary stuff.

Anyway, we went out for a simple dinner at Crystal Jade Parkway. As usual, we ordered our favourite Prawn Hor Fan and Fish Porridge. But somehow the culinary standard seemed to have dropped. We were disappointed because the dishes just weren't as tasty as before. Probably cooked by a newbie chef. As usual, Ying Ying started to fuss so we quickly gobbled up the food and left.

Later, we bought some small cut cakes from Breadtalk as they were having a 2-for-$4 promotion. I thought it was a good idea because a whole cake would be too much for the two of us. Moreover, I liked variety too. Those cream-laden cakes were yummy - my favourite was the "grassland" (which obviously is the green piece shown below). I liked its subtle sweetness and the red bean paste bits. But we felt really fat after eating all of them. :p
