I really love children's books written by Pat Hutchins. She is such a witty author and the illustrations are done so ever beautifully in a traditional way. I am glad the NLB keeps a good stock of them and I often wonder why such wonderful books are not out on loan. Ying Ying enjoys listening to all the Pat Hutchins stories I read to her at night because the plots are so funny and interesting. I would love to own all the thirty over titles she has written but I guess it would be more practical to just keep borrowing them from the NLB since they are so easily available.
