Mei-Mei

Went for a monthly scan last Friday.

Just before the scan, Ying Ying suddenly said "meimei" instead of the usual "didi-meimei". (Before that, we have been telling her to call her sibling "didi-meimei" because we didn't know the gender yet.) True enough, 2 mins later, my gynae said the chances of having a girl is 80% because he can't see 'anything' on the bottom.

Isn't it amazing? How did Ying Ying know she is gonna have a sister?? Husband says young children have psychic powers. For me, I am just so happy this kid has a strong sense of intuition which I lack. Hopefully, it can help her battle against negative elements in future. Baddies, watch out!!!

Meimei is 3.5cm now. Gynae assured me she is growing well physically even though I didn't put on any weight since the last visit because of my poor appetite during the chickenpox episode. Looking fwd to the detailed 20th wk scan at end of this month. The scan may be able to show if she is really affected by the chickenpox virus or not (touch wood!). Keeping my fingers crossed!!!
