Here's a collage of Ying Ying carrying her barney bag. This bag is special cos it has a barney soft toy sewn to the front. I didn't buy the bag the first time I saw it cos I knew it would be a waste of money since she probably wouldn't have much use for it. It is kinda small, only big enough for say 1 water-bottle, a mini snack container and perhaps a pkt of wet wipes. Maybe can squeeze in a sweater too. When I came across the same bag about 3 wks later, there were only 2 left - 1 new and the other a display set (think there were about 4-5 initially). In the end, I decided to get one for Ying Ying just for fun. Afterall, she doesn't have many soft toys or bags at home anyway.
Since then, I have gotten another barney item - a cute plush barney toy keychain. I hooked it to her diaper bag so that Ying Ying can have her little barney with her wherever she goes. :)
Ying Ying calls barney as "bar". For some strange reasons, she refused to pronounce the second syllable "ney" despite pleas to do so. Just like elephant as "e/air"; aeroplane/airplane as "air"; party as "par" and maisy as "mei"...
