Ying Ying appeared on the recent March'07 issue of Young Parents!
Yeap, she's the one at the top left hand corner! Heehee...
The given theme was I can read. I emailed a pic straight away cos I have captured quite a number of her reading eversince she started taking an interest in books. This pic is one of my favourites. :)
Interestingly, I didn't know it got published until I woke up one night to see Ying Ying staring at this page. (Background story: It was near midnight and our friend here refused to sleep, leaving her exhausted mama and papa no choice but to doze off without her.) You see, I am a magazine junkie and always have a few lying on or around the bed. Sometimes Ying Ying would grab them to flip through and look at the pictures. (I have a few torn magazines as a result. Yes, toddlers can be very rough. I made sure ALL her books are BOARD ones after she ripped off some expensive ones.) Anyway, I am still amazed how Ying Ying managed to get to this page. Probably by coincidence. But does she recognise her own photograph before I pointed out to her?? Nobody knows except her!!!
