I like to walk...
and walk...
and walk...
My legs are killing me - I need a rest now. After resting, I will...
walk some more...
It is quite funny to see Ying Ying walk. When she walks, she will stretch out her arms for balance, lean her body slightly forward, open her legs wide and bend her knees to lower her centre of gravity. What seems to be so simple for us is actually real hard work for her - she perspires like mad after all the walking. You can literally see beads of perspiration rolling off her forehead and her hair is so flattened and damp with perspiration that you would have thought she just came out of the bathtub. Sometimes, she is so sticky that I have to bathe her as many as 6 times a day (no kidding!) especially when the weather is hot and humid.
Ahh...children grow up so fast. It was only last month that I wrote how Ying Ying took her first few steps. Now, she can take as many as thirty consecutive steps without holding onto any support. I am so proud of her! My baby has become a toddler now! :)
