3 Princesses

It's a GIRL!!!!!!

I had my 20th week scan last Wednesday and the TMC sonographer said it is 100% GIRL. :)

Actually, my gynae had already commented last month that he would put his money down for a girl because he couldn't see 'anything' down there. I sort of believed him because he is such an experienced and skilful doctor so who am I to question him right? But kiasu me wanted to be doubly sure - because at the back of my mind, I was wondering what if the position of the baby wasn't clear enough for him to check? Or maybe it was too early to tell and that 'something' may just 'grow' out suddenly??

Anyway, I was pleased when the sonographer was able to confirm his prediction with a more 'powerful' scanner. Happy not so much of wanting a girl but more like, now I have an answer instead of wondering if it turns out to be a boy or girl!

Well, there you go - 3 girls! I never imagine myself to be a mother of 3 girls since I was not exactly very feminine when I was younger.

Funnily, I have no craving for a boy despite having 2 girls already. Maybe because my girls are quite tomboyish. :p So I am not disappointed at all though I suspect my MIL and especially my own mother (who kept suggesting to me the baby could be a boy until I got fed up and had to tell her off) may - that is why I am kind of reluctant to tell them. I haven't decided whether when to tell them or even telling them at all. Maybe I will let them find out by themselves when the baby comes out! :P

As a matter of fact, some of my relatives think I am having a 3rd one because I am trying for a boy! *roll eyes* So old-fashioned right? This is not ancient China, you know.... Well, I suppose I can't blame them cos those relatives on my side who have children all have at least one boy in their family and none of them have more than 2 girls. BUT there are plenty of girls on my hubby's side so I suppose his genes play a part. Well, who cares.....

Girl or boy, honestly, it doesn't matter to us, so long the baby is born healthy!

Now I can really start to think of a nice baby girl name.....heehee.....
